SHEEP:

CHARACTERISTIC

Sheep are born of the Spirit. The Shepherd birthed them into the fold.

These are not born of the will of the flesh or the will of man, but of the Spirit of God. John 1:13. They know the Shepherd’s voice. A stranger’s voice they will not follow. John 10:27

SHEEP ARE DOCILE.

They obey and submit to the order and command of their Master. They have a soft hearts that are easily reached and touched.

They do not rely on their wits and minds.

They are not clever according to the wisdom of the world.

They are babies and innocent concerning evil.

They do not often quarrel, dispute, or fight.

They do not know how to defend themselves. The shepherd defends them.

Good sheep do not stray easily; they walk closely with the Shepherd. They do not try to find out why they are told to do what they have to do.

They trust the shepherd and will eat from His hand.

TRUE SHEEP display peace, patience, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, love and joy. (Gal. 5:22). They are the product of the Lamb of God: JESUS CHRIST. God is looking for sheep.

GOAT:

Goats are not truly born of the Spirit of God.

They came as matter of necessity. They are called by the mind, philosophy and will of men.

They have a STUBBORN, REBELLIOUS, and INDEPENDENT nature.

They do not love the shepherd.

Goats have their own mind. They feel the need to express it. They hate restrains, they proclaim their freedom publicly.

They are not led by the spirit; they are forcefully driven by a hireling (a wolf in sheep clothing).

They do not learn the will of God, they are constantly indoctrinated, brainwashed, and tamed because of their wild nature.

They are usually beaten into submission.

They will do nothing before exhausting every reason why they must do it.

Goats do not volunteer for anything; they have to be manipulated into doing everything.

And once they said yes, do not expect them to follow up.

You have to go back to remind them.

Goats do not have a desire for spiritual things.

They like the outdoor life.

They hate close and intimate settings.

They like to be aloof, and spread out in the crowd.

The only way a goats comes into the fold, it is not by birth, they are tricked by the hireling to enter, either by embarrassing them or frightening them.

The hireling uses his will and fleshly method to pull them in.

In order to keep the goats’ attention in one place, you have to entertain them.

They easily get bored, and when they do, they stop coming.

Goats hate the truth, but prefer lies.

Goats do not talk about prayer meeting or fasting, they will faint and collapse at the mention it.

Any serious spiritual labor like a task prayer or serious worship will kill them for a like while. They will either asleep or dosing in and out.

GOATS ARE NOT HUMBLE

They like the hills and higher grounds.

They desire to look important.

They populate all the mega churches because of their entertaining programs and structure.

Any place where entertainment and program are lacking, goats will be dissatisfied, distracted and gone only after a short while.

Goats will never follow a shepherd.

They will always discover a hireling to keep them entertained.

They hate anything that challenges and confronts their inner lives, for they detest significant changes.

The hearts of goats are stony.

They hate any physical pain for spiritual gain like prayer meetings.

Goats are very good workers, but never worshippers.

You will usually find them in the outer court of the temple, not at the altar.

They love the outdoor, not the tents of meetings.

They are completely the opposite of sheep, although at distance they look alike.

ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE A GOAT TO A SHEEP. WITH GOD, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

SHEPHERDS:

CHARACTERISTIC:

Shepherds were born sheep. They understand what is like to be a sheep. The Chief Shepherd called them to help Him pastor His people. As part of their sheep upbringing, they know the voice of the Chief Shepherd. Shepherds are called, not made through school or any institution of learning. (Eph. 4:11). Shepherds are not professional clergymen who seek employment, a salary, vacation and a retirement plan. Hirelings do. They do not rely on knowledge or learned practices of twisted religions to lead a program. They hear the voice of the Chief Shepherd and obey every command. The shepherds can only produce sheep; anything else that slips through the crack could be a goat. While hirelings learn and rehearse what they teach, shepherds preach what they live.

Shepherds are not uncomfortable when they are confronted with the truth. They are not authoritarians like hirelings. They have a room for correction and repentance. (2 Sam.12:7). The shepherds have a strong desire to do the will of Him who sent them, and to finish it. (John 4:34). They are not proud to enter into another man’s labor to reap fruit unto eternal life.(Jan. 4:37). The Shepherds are not concerned about success or reputation, but they make sure to obey and accomplish the command given to them. Hirelings are so concerned about the numbers and their building programs. This is all they see and talk about. If the shepherds stop to do what the Chief Shepherd commanded him, many souls will end up in hell, and God will not receive glory from those souls. The shepherd is ready to give his life to save the sheep. (Jn 10:1-11). The hireling flees and leaves the fold unattended. He does not care for the sheep.

GOD IS CALLING MORE SHEPHERD TO LEAD HIS SHEEP

HIRELINGS or WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHING:

They are usually birthed by the will of men (Jn.1:12). They usually show up in the crowd, because they studied many things the true shepherds do.

They say in their hearts, “I can do that too.” If the truth be told, yes, they can do it. The hirelings are master of forms, they do not have power. (2Tim.3:1-5). They copy the outside; they never allowed the Holy Spirit to move on the inside. They were never sheep, they grew up as goats. They have head knowledge which causes them to swell with pride. They are very good at presenting a polished outward appearance. They are also uncomfortable before real shepherds. They learn all the external signs and practices. They cover their emptiness and inadequacies by getting bigger titles before their names.They seek comfort in whatever assignment they claim God gave them. They reject risky assignments, except if they are promised a pay. They are not called by God, they found a job. They are professional clergy men. They are interested in what they can get out of everything they do: salary, vacation, and retirement. They learn everything they know from books or other men. The Holy Spirit never told them anything. They have and run a program. They cannot live what they teach, it is for you, they say. They do not like the sheep; they are not ready to die for them. They often attract goats and few sheep that stray. They will use any cunning device to recruit goats and straying sheep to the slaughter house. The hirelings have expensive taste, all in the name of the spirit of excellence. They are pleasure driven. They hate worship, but fake praise. They pray to impress. They hate fasting. They boast about what they have, never prove what they are in God. They approve men after their human achievements, never after their spiritual maturity. They have big ideas they say God told them, they call them visions. Hirelings insist on titles and care much how people address them. They want to be respected by everyone, and hate those who appose their ways. They are everything sensual, and nothing spiritual. They do not have good fruits in their own lives. They twist the scriptures for their own gain. They are forceful and dogmatic in their teachings. They think they have to defend the truth. Hirelings have the sins and the blood of all the people they have deceived to account for before God. Their punishment will be much severe.

God can change a hireling into a shepherd if he truly repents.
